Privacy Policy

LOAMIFY is operated from Hong Kong and acts as the data controller for personal data processed to provide the Services (except where a creator independently decides how to use data they collect outside LOAMIFY).

Depending on how you use LOAMIFY, we may process:

• Account data: email, password hash, verification codes, role/status, optional two-factor authentication secrets and backup codes.
• Profile data: username, display name, avatar/banner, bio, location text, website, topics, social links, and onboarding preferences.
• Content and social graph: posts, comments, likes, bookmarks, follows, blocks/mutes, messages, articles, Circle activity, and related metadata.
• Usage and device data: IP address, user-agent, session activity, approximate technical logs needed for security and reliability.
• Commerce identifiers: Stripe customer IDs; for creators, Stripe Connect account identifiers and related billing status (tax/KYC details are primarily handled by Stripe).
• Learning and membership records: course enrollments/progress/certificates, membership subscriptions, RSVPs, and audience contacts mirrored for creator tools.
• Notifications: in-app preferences, delivery logs, email suppression records, and web-push subscription endpoints if you enable push.
• Trust and safety: reports, moderation actions, and legal/DMCA submissions (which may include name, email, address, phone, and statements you provide).
• Media you upload, stored in our object storage providers.

We process personal data to:

• Provide and secure the Services (contract / legitimate interests).
• Authenticate you, prevent abuse, and investigate violations (legitimate interests / legal obligation).
• Process Creator Plan payments where LOAMIFY is merchant of record (contract).
• Facilitate creator commerce via Stripe Connect (contract / legitimate interests).
• Send transactional email and, where enabled, digests and push notifications (contract / consent where required).
• Improve product quality using first-party analytics only after consent where the cookie banner applies (consent).
• Comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and handle copyright notices (legal obligation / legitimate interests).

We share personal data with service providers that process it on our instructions or as independent controllers where required (for example Stripe for payment processing):

• Stripe — payments, subscriptions, Connect payouts and related fraud/compliance checks.
• Email delivery providers (for example Postal or successor SMTP providers) — transactional and platform email.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers — application hosting, databases, Redis/queues.
• Object storage (for example MinIO in staging, Cloudflare R2 or similar in production) — media files.
• Error monitoring tools (for example Sentry) when enabled — diagnostic data that may include limited request context.
• Web push infrastructure when you enable browser notifications.

Creators and Circle hosts can see member information needed to run their communities and sales (for example membership status and profile fields you share). Public profile and public posts are visible according to your privacy settings and product design.

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Services.

We use essential cookies for authentication and security, preference storage, and (only if you accept) optional analytics. Details are in our Cookies Policy. You can choose “Essential only” or “Accept analytics” in the consent banner.

LOAMIFY is operated from Hong Kong. Our processors and infrastructure may be located in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as contractual protections with processors) for cross-border transfers. By using the Services, you understand that your data may be processed outside your country of residence.

We retain personal data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations.

You can export certain account data from Settings (self-serve export). You can request account deletion from Settings; we aim to complete deletion or anonymization within 30 days after a verified request, except for information we must keep for legal, security, or accounting reasons (for example limited billing records or abuse logs).

Soft-deletion may occur first (account marked pending deletion and sessions revoked) before hard deletion or anonymization completes.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to data portability. Under Hong Kong PDPO you may request access to and correction of personal data we hold about you. EU/EEA/UK users may also have GDPR rights including withdrawal of consent and lodging a complaint with a supervisory authority.

The Services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe we have done so, contact legal@loamify.io and we will take appropriate steps to delete the data.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the risk (including encrypted transport, access controls, and hashed passwords). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we become aware of a breach that requires notification under applicable law, we will notify affected users and authorities as required.

If you are a creator using Studio, you may receive limited member and purchaser information needed to deliver Circles, Courses, Memberships, and support. You must handle that data lawfully, only for providing your offering, and in line with your own policies disclosed to buyers. LOAMIFY’s role as platform does not make us merchant of record for creator-sold purchases.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable manner where appropriate.
